Day ticket information

Armagh Fisheries Ltd manages this fishery for the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA). Five day tickets per day are available to DAERA season permit holders at a reduced rate. Tickets are available from GI Stores(external link opens in a new window / tab).

How to get there

The reservoir is located a similar distance from the City of Armagh and Markethill. It can be accessed from the Ballymacnam Road.

 

From the City of Armagh

If you are driving from the City of Armagh, take the A29 road towards Keady for 1km, turn left onto the B31 Newtownhamilton Road and continue for a further 5.2km to the junction with the Ballymacnab Road. Turn left and Seagahan Reservoir is a further 1km along this road.

 

From Markethill

If you are driving from Markethill, take the B3 Coolmillish Road towards Keady for 6.3km and turn right onto the Ballymacnab Road at the signpost for Seagahan Dam. The reservoir is a further 1.2km along this road.
