Northern Ireland Cross Community Angling hosted the 2016 International Cross Border Peace Cup on the 27th & 28th August at NICCA’s Beechhill Fishery in Loughries, Co Down. Teams from Poland, Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland fished in teams of 4 for 24hrs using various coarse methods.
With changeable weather conditions throughout the 24hr competition, the fishing proved to be difficult but everyone showed great determination and worked hard to produce some brilliant fish in spite of the conditions.
